(Route 1, 1/2 block north of Greenbelt Road)
College Park, MD

Celebrate the birth of College Perk's newest addition -- La Garage! I can't wait to play in the new space, with its new stage, sound system, food, and, as far as I know, no coffee grinders or cappuccino makers adding "harmonies." But don't fret, the same yummy perks you've come to love will still be available mere yards away.

Celebrate the birth of Cedar Belly's debut EP, "3 a.m. stars," now available from CD Baby. Join singer-songwriter Lacy Thompson, multi-instrumentalist Bob Lamb, and their most-musical friends -- Mark Sylvester, myself, a possible mystery trumpeter, and more! -- for an emo-folk-rock-jazz round robin. You especially don't want to miss the surely-to-be-infamous "'This Song,' 'That Song,' 'Little Man,' 'Big Man'" set. (Don't worry. We'll not medley.)

Split stage with Dave Pahanish. I'm not familiar with his music, but I hear "He's sort of like a male joni with less alternate tunings... or a lower-pitched angie aparo." Mark Sylvester will be joining me on upright bass.

***Saturday, May 21, 7:30-10 pm***
Music Junction at Riverdale Bookshop

4701 Queensbury Road
Riverdale, MD 20737

Split stage (alternating sets) with Mark Sylvester. This is a great little listening room where new and used books (and tasty little treats) abound! Fun place for a poet turned singer-songwriter to play, I have to say.
