"Vagina Fair" Benefit Concert
preceding "The Vagina Monologues"

I guess you could say I'm the "fore-play." I'll be warming up the crowd for a local theater production of Eve Ensler's "Vagina Monologues," which (especially if you haven't ever seen them before) aren't to be missed! And, speaking of appropriate, I think, for this event, "Big Man" might be in order. Any other requests? Proceeds benefit local domestic violence and sexual assault services.

Can I just tell you how exciting it is to be book-ended by these two musical hunks? Basically, the plan is for Baltimore-based singer-songwriter Eric Agner and I to swap a few. I'll put on harmonies under his playful, toe-tappin rockabilly. He'll add richly textured vocals and upright bass to some of my more mellow tunes. Meanwhile, the ever-remarkable Bob Lamb will join us for the ride on slide guitar, classical guitar, and harmonica. Come eat, drink, and be sated.
